SHE'S OUT!!! SUCCESS!!!

The shunt operation was a success! Michele is out of surgery and will be back in her room in NSICU soon. There was a biopsy of muscle taken to help determine the cause of her myopathy (the reason she is not moving around much). They also removed 7 – 8 cc’s of fluid from her brain which looked infected based on the last CT scan. An update from John will be posted soon.
