UPDATE 3/24

Michele had a busy day between cool baths to bring her temp down and an Echo Cardio Gram to check her heart. It will be a few days before we get the results. Tomorrow she is scheduled for the 4th lumbar puncture. I feel she is in great need of this for the swelling that she currently has and she always responds well to these. This should be her last as we have decided to do the shunt operation on Monday as we cannot wait any longer. This is of course that she is in good health for the operation meaning no temp, infections and decreased head swelling. If all goes well our best case scenario for her to return to Colorado 4 days after the operation which would be next Friday. Before we get the welcome home balloons filled a lot of things need to happen and of course she needs to respond each and every day from here on out better each day. My realistic though is 14 to 17 days from now based on her past progress. Annette visited with Michele and I today but I was unable to get any pictures today due to her busy schedule. It seemed every time we got to the room we were being asked for some reason to leave for tests. I look forward to the lumbar puncture tomorrow and this has always proven to be effective for about 4 days.

Thanks for all the prayers.

John
