UPDATE 2/28 PM

We have some positive information from this afternoon’s visit. Michele’s platelet count went from 55k to 187k (a normal level) which is excellent, and means she is producing her own platelets, and receiving no transfusions. The EEG machine that was previously hooked up to monitor brain wave activity to detect seizures was removed as everything looks normal. Also, she had an ultra-sound done yesterday to look for any blood clots in her arms, legs and entire body. There are none. There is a slight fever, but nothing to be alarmed of.

Michele was peacefully resting and we did not wake her. Tomorrow we will get a briefing from one of the residents of her overall status, and hope to get an update on the blood cultures.

Mass at St. Joan of Arc was very nice this morning. The Priest blessed the bracelet that Amy is currently wearing, the one that Rosa from the Royal Mayan gave to me while we were there.

Tonight we are being taken out to dinner by some friends from Boca Raton and are looking forward to catching up, talking about old times and just relaxing.

Keep those prayers coming.

Love to all,
John
